The main difference is the shape of the reply. Instead of text to read, you get a voice note in the character's own voice, with subtitles, while her 3D avatar changes expression as she talks. Small talk or roleplay, it becomes something you listen to.

There are nine original characters, each with a personality, a voice and a hometown: Saki who sings in Shimokitazawa, Koharu who runs a cafe in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Akira on late-night radio. It is built around a small cast you get to know over time rather than a feed of user-made bots. Tell them a relationship or a scene in a line and they play it as themselves.
