About Toonabi
Toonabi is a web app for talking with nine original 3D anime characters who reply out loud, in their own voice. It's run by Toonabi LLC, a Florida limited liability company in the United States. There's no account and nothing to install: it runs in the browser on phones and computers.
Meet the nine characters
chat with SakiHow it works: pick a character and send a message, and a reply arrives within seconds as a voice note with subtitles, while the 3D character changes expression as they talk. Replies are written by an AI language model and the voices are made with AI; the characters are not real people. On the same browser, a character remembers your earlier conversations, and their own days move along in between.
The characters: nine adults, each with a job, a neighborhood and a voice of their own. Most live in Tokyo; Keiko grows lavender in Furano, Hokkaido. They are original to Toonabi, not from an existing anime or game.
Languages and countries: the site is in English, Japanese and Korean, and characters reply in the language you write in. Visitors from Taiwan and Hong Kong can also chat in Traditional Chinese. Toonabi is available in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States (except California and New York), Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
The content line: conversations are warm, like talking with a friend, and never explicit. Toonabi is for ages 13 and up (14 and up in South Korea and Canada). Under-18s get a friendly mode with no romance; adults who confirm they're 18 or older can have warmer conversations. There are no minors or family framings. The characters are friends, not counselors, and if someone seems to be in danger they point to a local helpline.
Company and privacy: Toonabi is run by Toonabi LLC, a Florida limited liability company in the United States. There are no accounts: chats are tied to an anonymous ID stored in your browser, and "Delete my data" on the You page erases them. Privacy questions: [email protected].
